Why Donate your car to Good Wheels of Silicon Valley. Our mission is to support our employees, customers, and anyone facing challenging barriers to employment by raising their standard of living and improving their lives through our services and social enterprise.
Donate Your Vehicle For A Great Cause!
Every donation supports the mission of Goodwill of Silicon Valley and its programs towards helping our local community
Our trained representatives will take care of everything. It doesn’t matter if your car is in good condition, needs extensive repairs, or is not running at all. We can arrange a free tow service. Even if you don’t have the title, you can still donate.
When you donate your car, you’re creating jobs. Our mission is to support those who face challenging barriers to employment, raise their standard of living, and improve their lives through services and social enterprise.
Unlike most vehicle donation programs, which sell vehicles for parts, Good Wheels will sell your vehicle at retail when applicable. We clean and refurbish the vehicle resulting in a much higher tax deduction, which also maximizes your contribution.
Our vision is ambitious. Help employ hundreds of thousands of people in America. We know we can’t do it alone. That’s why REDF is partnering with business leaders, funders, community leaders, and policymakers who can work toward a common goal: invest in social enterprises that put people to work on a national scale.
Silicon Valley Leadership Group epresents more than 390 of Silicon Valley’s most respected employers on issues, programs and campaigns that affect the economic health and quality of life in Silicon Valley, including energy, transportation, education, housing, health care, tax policies, economic vitality and the environment.
Founded in Santa Clara County in 1926, Goodwill of Silicon Valley (GWSV) is part of Goodwill Industries International, a federation of over 200 autonomous, community-based Goodwill organizations worldwide. Together we are one of the largest social service organizations in the world.
We are dedicated to improving employment opportunities, increasing standards of living, providing economic independence, and restoring our clients sense of self value. We do this through workforce creation, vocational training and environmental stewardship.
With 19 retail stores, an online store, an extensive reuse/recycling operation, and our Contract Services division (GoodSource) we help people overcome barriers to employment, build sustainable livelihoods, and transform their lives and communities.
The revenues generated from these enterprises, coupled with grant and financial donation support, fund the Institute for Career Development (ICD), the heart of the organization. ICD provides employment services to over 4,000 adult and youth annually.
